Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Hard veggies: Beet/cabbage/beans/bottle gourd/potato/onion/ spring onion to be cooked in cooker along with toor dal.
Soft veggies: Okra/drumstick/raw tomato/spinach/methi/ peas to be added directly while cooking.
* Step 2
Cook toor dal+veggie in pressure cooker. Quantity of water such that everything is soaked.
Once cooked mash it a little bit.
* Step 3
Add salt, tamarind juice, jaggery and boil well (add 1 cup water as needed for consistency).
If using soft veggies add it in this step along with salt and jaggery.
* Step 4
Add masala paste. Add water as needed and boil on sim for further 10 mins. Adjust salt and tamarind as needed during this process.
