Brioche

Is a bread of French origin whose high egg and butter content gives it a rich and tender crumb.

Ingredient

2 loafs

3h 30 minutes

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Put the warm water in a bowl with the sugar and yeast and mix and allow to dissolve for 2-3 minutes.

* Step 2

Put the flour ina mixer and add the above mixture to it and mix well. Slowly pour in the eggs and beat for 2 minutes at low speed.

* Step 3

Add butter bit by bit.

Prepare two bread tins. Divide the mixture in two, make 14 small balls. Place into the tins and cover with a damp cloth. Leave in a warm place until doubled in size. 1h 30 or 2h.

Preheat the oven to 175 C.

* Step 6

Lightly glaze the top of the breads with milk and egg wash, place in the oven and bake for 35 minutes.
