Ca Daun Lobak/Turnip Green Soup

Another succulent soup Indonesian people used to eat with the plain rice and dry processed meat, chicken or fish. If western style usually eating soup in a creamy style, but we usually eat succulent soup. As the heat in a tropical weather make us hot, with succulent soup always giving us fresh feeling and help us to keep hydrated.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

20 minutes
1 bunch

turnip green

4 cloves

garlic

3 cm

ginger

3 sheets

beancurd

3 tbs

veg oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cleans and smash the garlic and ginger. Heat the oil in the saucepan then sauté the garlic and ginger. Once the it golden brown add the chicken broth and water.

* Step 2

Once the water is boiled add the diced carrot, wait till the carrot wilted then add the chopped turnip green, beancurds and salt.

* Step 3

Wait till the turnip green is wilted, turn off the heat and the soup is ready to serve.
