Wedang Ronde/Authentic Indonesian Ginger Tea Glutenous Ball
Another ginger tea perfect for winter. Wedang Ronde is another authentic hot drink from my hometown. A perfect drink when it reached -18 degrees Celsius.
Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Glutenous ball:
Mix the glutenous rice flour with water and food color. Fill the dough with nuts and make it into small balls. Boil the water and cook the glutenous balls.
* Step 2
When the balls are floating it means the glutenous balls are ready. Then put the glutenous balls in the bowl with the cold water (so the mochi does not stick to each other).
* Step 3
Ginger tea:
Clean the ginger and roast the ginger using direct fire or in the saucepan (I use a saucepan) for 3-5 minutes. Add the water, palm sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Boil the ginger tea till it is boiled.
* Step 4
Preparation:
Prepare a bowl or cup, add the additional ingredients and mochi in the bowl then add the strained tea.
* Step 5
Wedang Ronde or Authentic Indonesian ginger tea is ready to drink to warm our bodies in the cold weather or rainy season.
