Hyderabad Biryani Pilav
My good neighbor taught me this recipe when we lived in Mombasa. She is Arabic, and by coincidence, her granny is Indonesian. We used to share different food. She shared her Arabian food, and I shared Indonesian food.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Smash the garlic and ginger and make it paste. Preheat the saucepan, add oil and saute the paste. Add ground chili, then add the beef and beef bones. Stir it and close the lid; cook the beef till coming out of the water by itself./Hancurkan bawang putih dan jahe, lalu buat menjadi pasta. Panaskan panci, tambahkan minyak dan tumis pasta. * Step 2
Add the water, all the ingredients except for mint and coriander leaves. Cook till the beef is ready. Once the beef is ready, add the chopped mint and coriander leaves and fried onion and potatoes. Continue to cook for 20 more minutes./Tambahkan air, semua bahan kecuali daun mint dan daun ketumbar. Masak sampai dagingnya siap. Setelah daging sapi siap, tambahkan daun mint dan ketumbar cincang dan kentang dan bawang goreng. Lanjutkan memasak selama 20 menit lagi.
* Step 3
Rice: Wash the rice and soak it in the water for 30 minutes. Boil the water; when the water is boiled, add the spices for the rice. After 5 minutes, add the soak strained rice. Lower the heat and cook the rice./Beras: Cuci beras dan rendam dalam air selama 30 menit. Rebus air jika air sdh mendidih, tambahkan bumbu untuk nasi. Setelah 5 menit, masukkan beras saring yang sudah direndam. Kecilkan api dan masak nasi.
* Step 4
The rice is ready when the rice is not sticking to each other anymore. Once it's ready, prepare the saucepan to add the rice at the bottom and then the beef at the top. Cover the pan using aluminum foil for 20-30 minutes./Nasi sudah siap saat nasi sudah tidak lengket lagi. Setelah siap, siapkan panci untuk menambahkan nasi di bagian bawah lalu daging di bagian atas. Tutup wajan menggunakan aluminium foil selama 20-30 menit.
* Step 5
Hyderabad biryani pilav is ready to serve added the fried onion and coriander leaves as a garnish and accompanied by yogurt and salad./Nasi biryani Hyderabad siap disajikan ditambahkan bawang goreng dan daun ketumbar sebagai topping dan ditemani yogurt dan salad.
