Fig & Habanero Preserves

Ingredient

2 cups

fresh figs

1 cup

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut tips off figs, and half them.

* Step 2

Bring figs, sugar, and habanero to a boil for about 5 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer until the liquid goes from thin to thick.

* Step 3

Immersion blend the ingredients into a paste!

* Step 4

Pour paste into a hot mason jar and seal with a hot lid. Place upside down to create a vacuum seal.

* Step 5

Allow to cool for 24 hours before serving!
