Creamy Cajun Sausage and Pasta

Five ingredients, and 20 minutes. That's all it takes to feed a family, and it's a favorite with kids. This recipe has been in the top 15 since I published it almost 7 years ago.

1 package

smoked sausage

2 cups

heavy cream

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cook pasta according to directions on package.

* Step 2

While your pasta cooks, cut sausage into small bite sized pieces, and cook over medium high heat for about 4-5 minutes.

* Step 3

Add cream and Cajun seasoning to pan, stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3-4 minutes or until sauce coats the spoon.

* Step 4

Stir in Parmesan cheese and then add your pasta. Stir together and enjoy. I have found that this recipe doesn't keep well overnight, so eat up, no leftovers.
