Sewiya ka metha

It’s simple yet delicious sweet ready in just a few minutes let’s get started :-

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 servings

Cooking time :

15 minutes
300 grams

Sewiya

1 1/2 cups

Sugar

1 tablespoon

Raisins

2 tablespoons

Ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take a pan add in ghee to it and fry raisins a little and set aside then semi crush the sewiyya then on low flame fry it till the aroma comes.

* Step 2

Then add water and sugar, fried raisins, food colour, cardamoms/powder.

* Step 3

Then mix all this well and just keep it on simmer for five minutes add water according to the quantity of sewiyya it should not be to sticky if we add excess water it will become sticky.

* Step 4

Just add the amount of water so that it can cook a little and does not stick to pan after five minutes check if it’s done taste it add if anything needed like sugar for more sweetness etc.

* Step 5

Then pop in a dish and garnish with pistachios or any dry fruits like cashews, pistachio etc. Simple and yummy !!!

* Step 6

I have garnished with raisins and saffron strands so when it’s hot we Will cover the lid over it to settle & the saffron aroma releases in sweet.looks delicious & prepared instantly.
