Dal masoor halwa in my style(puran halwa)

Basically people prepare this puran halwa with chana dal I tried it with dal masoor & believe me it turned out fantastic it goes well with normal hot chapati homemade or puris which I prepared with stuffing of this halwa..!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soaked dal Masoor for about 1 hour in warm water now boil it well until it’s tender while it’s on room temperature using a hand mixer make it to a fine paste
* Step 2
Take a wok add in ghee while it’s warm pop in the dal Masoor paste keep stirring now add in raisins
* Step 3
Besides dry roast the cardamoms,nutmeg & maze blend it to a powder then pop it in the halwa
* Step 4
Further add orange red food color mix it well keep stirring making sure it doesn’t stick to the bottom lastly add sugar cook till the sugar melts the ghee separates & it’s done off the flame burner
* Step 5
The deliciously awesome dal Masoor halwa / puran halwa is ready to relish this Diwali this your loved ones..!
