Mutton chops

#eid2020. It's a common mutton dish in Karnataka. Thick gravy tastes best with akki rotti or chapati.

Ingredient

1 KG

mutton

2 tablespoon

oil

2 tablespoon

ghee

1 inch

ginger

1 inch

cinnamon

5-6

clove

1 teaspoon

pepper

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 tablespoon

coriander powder

1 tablespoon

fried gram

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil and ghee in a cooker add cleaned mutton add salt and turmeric. Cook till water leaves from mutton.

Grind the ingredients for masala in to smooth paste. Add it to mutton fry for couple of minutes.

After raw smell of masala goes add required amount of water.

* Step 4

Close the cooker lid cook for 6-8 whistles. Serve with roti or rice.
