Millet sweet pongal

Ingredient

1 cup

mong daal

1/4 cup

rice

1 cup

jaggery

4 tablespoon

ghee

1/2 cup

milk

1/2 cup

coconut

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Roast mong daal with 1 tablespoon of ghee and cook with millet and rice with 5cups of water.

* Step 2

In a heavy base vessel heat jaggery add cardamon powder.

* Step 3

Add cooked millet and rice. Mix well add grounded coconut paste and milk cook well. Add chopped coconut pieces.

* Step 4

In a pan heat ghee roast cashew and resins add it to pongal. Mix well and serve hot.
