Basmati or Jasmati Rice, Basic Recipe
This is the simple basic recipe for cooking Basmati or Jasmati long grain rice. Used often to accompany main dishes such as oriemtal, stews, chicken and much more.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a medium saucepan bring chicken broth and butter to a boil, add rice, give it a quick stir then cover, turn heat to low and simmer 20 minutes. Turn off heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes.
* Step 2
Turn out into serving dish and fluff with a fork.
