Sausage Gravy (For Biscuits n Gravy)

DO NOT use Italian Sausage for Sausage gravy that is to be used for biscuits and gravy. This recipe will make a meaty gravy that is delishious! Cajin seasoning may be added. ♡

Ingredient

Food ration :

1 1/2 tsp

salt

1 1/2 tsp

black pepper

3 cup

milk

1 cup

water

2 1/2 lb

Pork Sausage

2/3 cup

flour

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Make biscuits first. Then chop onion.

Brown sausage and add onions in ex-large skillet or 6 quart kettle.

Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder as sausage browns.

Pour or sprinkle flour evenly covering top of sausage, then stir flour in letting flour brown a little. There will be some sticking. No need to panic. Keep stirring while scraping bottom of pan.

Pour in milk and water while stirring constantly.

Bring gravy to a rolling boil while stirring. Once gravy boils good, turn burner to low or off. Gravy is ready to serve!
