Drunken Chicken Sauce

Drunken Chicken Sauce

Ingredient

Red wine

sea salt

1 tbsp

hot pepper

3 tbsp

brown sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Equipment include crock pot and mini food processor

Ingredients of organic chicken, garlic, green onion (could use regular but i didn't have any). Basil grown in my garden. Half bottle of wine

Sauté onion and garlic after searing chicken.

Give chicken a hot hard sear in evoo. Salt pan, add evoo and sear both sides well. When done add to preheated wine in crock pot with the garlic and onion. Let steep 30 min.

While that's cooking chop tomatoes with basil and green onions (found these amazing imported organic Italian tomatoes at big lots for under $2)

After 30 min add tomato mix and 1 tbsp brown sugar and hot pepper to pot. Stir well.

While cooking you will notice chicken shreds easy and is colored by wine. Sauce will be darker.

As you taste you may decide to add salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, maybe balsamic vinegar. You have to taste and season as you go along. This can go over any pasta anytime. I added the extra 2 tbsp of brown sugar.
