Mascarpone and Tomato Pasta

This pasta was inspired by a chef's recipe I saw on TV. I tried out lots of tomato sauce recipes and after a bit of experimenting came up with this one! My kids ask me to make this all the time!

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 servings

Cooking time :

15 mins
80 grams

bacon (block)

1 clove

garlic

1 Tbsp

olive oil

100 grams

mascarpone

2 Tbsp

milk

1 tsp

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil the fettuccine almost done but still firm. It will be boiled once more later so you don't want to cook it all the way yet.

Add the bacon and minced garlic to a frying pan with some olive oil and stir-fry.

Add the canned tomatoes and continue to stir-fry.

Mix in the mascarpone cheese and keep cooking.

Taste and adjust the flavor with salt and pepper. Add a little sugar for a subtly sweet flavor. Adjust the thickness of the sauce with milk.

Add the partially boiled fettuccine to the sauce and mix together.

Stop the heat once the pasta is done, transfer to a plate, and serve.
