I'm not a big drinker but I do like a glass of gin on special occasions! Clear spirits are great for infusing fruit flavours
Ingredient
Cooking time :

150 grams
caster sugar
750 ml
gin
1 (1 litre)
wide necked bottle or jar
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Spoon the crushed strawberries into the bottle, add the sugar and gin, seal and shake gently
* Step 2
Leave the bottle at room temperature and shake twice a day for 3 days to help dissolve the sugar
* Step 3
Strain the mixture and return to the bottle, seal and label with a use by date of 3 months time
* Step 4
Make the week before Xmas for optimum drinking time. If giving as a gift write a cocktail idea on the back of the gift tag!
