Steamed Courgette and Green beans
A couple of my favorite vegetables are in season now and I’ve been going nuts over what to have when. Courgettes are easily my fallback plan. They are very easy to prepare and can stand just about any technique i.e., frying, baking, roasting, and now steaming.

10 minutes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Bring salted water to a simmer. Add courgettes and cook until tender but not mashy (3 minutes should be enough). Drain and set aside
* Step 2
Repeat Step 1 with green beans
* Step 3
Heat and melt butter in a pan. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Drizzle garlic and butter mixture over combined steamed vegetables. Season with salt and pepper and toss to incorporate
