Hearty Beef Lasagna
I think that Lasagna tops the list of hearty meals for big families. It only makes sense to go through all the trouble for a dish to be enjoyed and appreciated by people you love 🤗

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a shallow pan, heat oil and sauté onions and garlic until browned. Cook whilst regularly stirring the beef until browned and all the liquid has dried out. Stir in tomatoes and cook until tender. Add tomato paste, water, seasoning, and simmer covered on medium heat until cooked through (30 to 45minutes). Stir frequently to avoid sticking
* Step 2
Make the cheese sauce by heating butter until melted and whisk flour into it until a brown stable paste is achieved (i.e. the roux). Slowly pour milk over the roux, whisking continuously until it dissolves and the mixture starts to thicken. Take of heat and whisk in the cheeses until melted and finally stir in the parsley
* Step 3
Cook lasagna sheets in boiling water until just tender. Rinse with cold water to stop cooking process
* Step 4
Preheat oven to 190C and grease your baking dish (preferably glass) with butter
* Step 5
For the assembly, spread a thin layer of meat sauce at the bottom of the pan; arrange lasagna sheets over the meat sauce (lengthwise); finally a spreading of the cheese sauce. Repeat layers and once the final layer is on, top it the reserved mozzarella
* Step 6
Bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan for 10minutes for your serving portions to hold shape
* Step 7
Serve with your favorite vegetables!
