Basic Vanilla Cupcakes

Fluffy, moist, not overwhelming sweet, and super easy! #mycookbook

Ingredient

1 1/2 cup

AP flour

1/2 cup

white sugar

1/2 cup

butter

1/2 cup

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 170 degrees Celsius. (350 degrees Fahrenheit)

* Step 2

Using a hand mixer, blend butter and white sugar together for about 2 minutes or until fluffy.

Next, add vanilla extract and one egg at a time; blend well.

Add the flour, and baking powder, blend well with a hand mixer. Once the flour is combined, gradually add the milk.

* Step 5

Line your cupcake tin or mold and fill each cupcake liner to about 3/4 full. Bake for 25 minutes or until your toothpick comes out clean.

* Step 6

I topped my cupcakes with sifted powdered sugar for something more light and subtle in sweetness. Feel free to add your favorite frosting or even just eating it as is!
