Chicken-lentil's fritters/ Murg-Mungode

We all must have eaten moong dal's vada or mungode but adding some minced chicken takes it to a different level for the foodie in you if you crave for non vegetarian snack. Lip smacking fritters that can be prepared ahead of time and double fried when needed for chrunchiness.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak both green grams for 4 hours.

* Step 2

Make coarse paste of both split green gram with green chillies. Use very little water.

* Step 3

Mince boneless chicken, do not make very fine paste.

* Step 4

Mix together lentil paste, minced chicken, crushed coriander seeds, grated ginger, chopped onion and garlic, salt, lemon juice and coriander leaves. Mix well.

* Step 5

Deep fry on medium flame. It will take around 10 minutes for it to get cooked. If you are making ahead of time then remove the fritters now.

* Step 6

Fry them again in very hot oil when you want to serve it,until they turn golden brown. Otherwise continue frying them for another 5 minutes. Sprinkle some chaat masala.

Serve these fritters with fried green chillies (optional), mint coriander chutney or sauce of your choice.
