Apricot Pecan Sauce For Ice Cream

In a large saucepan, combine the spreadable fruit, cream and butter.

Bring to a boil.

* Step 3

Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until blended.

* Step 4

Stir in pecans, vanilla and rum extract if desired.

* Step 5

Remove from heat.

* Step 6

Serve over ice cream.

* Step 7

*This makes about 1 cup.*
