Gingersnap Molasses Cookies

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F.

* Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugar, molasses, egg, baking soda, salt, spices, and flour.

* Step 3

Mix well.

* Step 4

Form into 1 inch balls and roll in the extra sugar or vanilla sugar.

* Step 5

Place on lightly greased cookie sheets, and make sure to not place the cookies too close to one another.

* Step 6

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
