Murmure Aur Chana or Puffed Rice with Roasted Chana

This is my childhood favourite. It's a very simple and an easy one too. We as kids used to just buy this from the hawkers on the streets and enjoy the simple Snack. But now as a mother, I give them to my kids after dry roasting. Actually it enhances the taste and texture both. Just dry roast them either separately or together for about a few minutes before serving. This way it tastes much much better. And add Salt accordingly if desired. Though it doesn't require any of it. It's a lovely munchie for anytime Snacking. And not only that it's healthy too. It is much better than the junk food which we usually expose our children to. I prefer this simple one instead for my loved ones. And hope you too will appreciate this which is one of my most cherished childhood memories.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Roast each of them either separately or together on a low heat. It's actually dry roasted but can use some Ghee or Butter if desired.
* Step 2
Keep stirring in between to avoid burning. It gets done very quickly. Roasted Kala Chana is easily available in the markets. So there is no need of roasting it if you can lay your hands on it.
* Step 3
I have used the roasted one from Amazon India. And that made it even more easy. Enjoy!
