Sweet Potato Chips

#cookpadindia #snacks These are very easily done and are very crisp too. They are crispy even if they are sliced a bit thick. That's the reason why they can make for some good Snack at tea-time or Shaam Ki Chai. Just sprinkle and relish them with your favourites. I have used Chat Masala because i love this amazing combination. And a perfectly delicious Snacking idea for everyone in Winters. These hot Chips are yum with Hot Chocolate too. And there are umpteen variations that can be tried. Be it frying, boiling or baking, every variation has a charm of it's own. This is what lends this simple looking tuber a lovely domain. And we Indians even make Halwa and Kheer. Because of it's creamy and melt in mouth texture, this is a favourite of almost everyone. And the most important and the bestest part of these Sweet Potato Chips is that they get fried very quickly. Even though they are a bit on the thick side, they still get done in a jiffy.

Oil for frying

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and peel their skin off. Deep fry in hot Oil on a medium high heat until crisp and done.

Fry in batches of 2 or 3 or as required. Keep a vigilant eye on them and keep turning every now and then for even frying from both the sides.

* Step 3

Drain and sprinkle some Chat Masala while still hot. Toss well and serve these crispy Chips immediately to your loved ones and friends. Enjoy!
