Pan Fried Whole Fish

#tech2 #cookpadindia Pan fried whole fish coated with wheat flour is a meal to enjoy in Winters. I have used a very popular variety of fish called Sherri fish (Emperor Bream) available here in Saudi Arabia. Super delish and a perfect combo with rice and dal, it forms an important meal on our weekends. This variety is abundantly available there and is one of the most loved too. However any variety of whole Fish can be used like Pomfret both Black and White varieties or any other Fish too whichever is available at your place. Bon Appetit! Enjoy Cooking with Zee!

Ingredient

30-35 minutes
2-3 tbsp

Cumin powder

2 tbsp

Lemon juice

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Clean the fish and make deep slits slantingly. Marinate it with all the spices and set aside for an hour.

* Step 2

To the Wheat flour, add some Salt and Red chilli powder according to taste. Coat the fish with this dry flour mix and fry on a medium-high heat until done.

Fry until nice golden and crisp on both the sides. Serve these with Rice and Khatti Daal. A perfect meal for any day.
