Lipsmacking Dessert that will leave you spellbound. With Powdered Rice, it becomes an instant hit. It gets so creamy and luscious after done that it just melts in the mouth. And with Delhi Red Carrots, you will get a nostalgic light Red to Pinkish hue to the Kheer which will leave you awestruck. Such is the magic of this flavourful and aromatic beautiful looking Dessert of all times.

Ingredient

2 Litres

full fat Milk

1 cup

Sugar

2 tbsp

Ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Bring Milk to a rolling boil on high heat. After it starts boiling, lower the heat and allow it to simmer. Mix the Basmati Rice powder with little water and add to it. Cook on low heat for about 15 minutes.

* Step 2

Heat Ghee in a pan and stir fry the shredded Carrots until the raw smell fades away. Add this to the simmering Milk. Let that cook for a further 15 minutes. Or can directly add to the Milk. Ghee is optional. It's not a must. I make it with and without Ghee.

* Step 3

After the Carrots and the Rice mix are cooked well, add in Sugar and Amul Fresh Cream. Mix well. Keep stirring in between so that it doesn't stick to the bottom. After the desired consistency is achieved, add half of the slivered mixed Nuts.

* Step 4

Refrigerate it for an hour or two if you want to serve it chilled. Otherwise, it can be served immediately with the other half of the slivered mixed Nuts sprinkled on top. Also, top it with Khoya or Mawa if desired. It tastes heavenly. Enjoy!
