Muesli and Chia Seeds Porridge

#kids #cookpadindia Muesli is the best known cereal out there. Start your day with this fiber rich bowl and you are ready for the day. For a little twist, I decided to add in some Chia seeds along with the fruits that I toss in. A best alternative for a healthy Breakfast or a Brunch. Suitable for Kids over 7 years and younger children too. Infact it's the best for the adults as well as the teenagers too especially in this age of all artificial or unreal ingredients that lack the strength and quality of the yesteryear products that our parents and grandparents had. They had been real lucky indeed. The best we can do is eat good and healthy food made at home with at least some healthy ingredients.

4 cups

Oats

1 1/2 cups

Almonds

1 tsp

Salt

2 tbsp

Coconut Oil

1 cup

Muesli

2 tbsp

Honey

3 tbsp

Raisins

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°. Mix together the oats, coconut flakes, coconut oil, cinnamon powder, salt, vanilla extract and almonds.

* Step 2

On a baking tray lined with parchment paper, spread this mixture out and bake it for about 10 minutes. In between the process, toss the mixture around just to prevent excessive baking.

* Step 3

Once done, let it cool completely. This particular recipe of Muesli approximately gives you 8 servings.

* Step 4

FOR THE PORRIDGE :- Bring Milk to a boil. Arrange the bottom part of the jar with muesli and pour the milk till it's all soaked. Spread out some chia seeds above this.

* Step 5

On the next layer, spread out the oats. Again, add in a layer of Chia Seeds. Lastly, top it off with Honey and fruits followed by mixed nuts. Enjoy it as it is or you can even eat it chilled.
