Jal Jeera/Indian Flavoured Lemonade

An amazingly so very Indian drink, this is a lovely coolant and a big rescue from the scorching heat of the sun and needless to say, it is an everyday affair at our Iftaar in Ramadan. It is very rightly referred to as Flavoured Indian Lemonade. Made with such useful ingredients, it is helpful in digestion too and is a perfect appetizer. Enjoy it chilled for that thanda thanda cool cool and lemony mazaa that is so very synonymous with this drink.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak Tamarind in hot water for some time and then squeeze juice out of it. Add this to all the ingredients mentioned and grind to a smooth chutney. Now add water to this and strain in two serving glasses.
* Step 2
Before doing so, check for any bitterness. Use some more of Dry Mango powder or Amchur. And if not available, then Lemon juice can be used.
* Step 3
Serve this chilled with some Boondi on top. Enjoy!
