Ingredient

1 bowl

Semolina

1/2 bowl

Ghee

1/2 bowl

Sugar

3 bowls

Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add ghee in a heavy bottom wok. Fry cashew nuts and almonds for 2 minutes and remove it in a plate.

Now add semolina in remaining ghee and roast till ghee leaves the sides of wok. Colour of semolina should not change.

Now add fried cashew nuts and almonds and roasted sunflower seeds and mix.

* Step 4

Add water and stir till it turns thick.

* Step 5

Now add sugar and cardamom powder and mix and cook till sugar absorbs and halwa gets thick.

Switch off the flame when halwa leaves the sides.

Serve hot.
