Babugosha Khatti Meethi Chutney

Cumin seeds

1/2 tsp

Fennel seeds

2 tsp

Sugar

1/2 tsp

Mango powder

1 cup

Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and chop babugosha in small pieces. Peel wash and chop onion and tomato.

* Step 2

Heat cooking oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and fennel seeds and when they cracker add chopped onions and ginger chilli paste and saute for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomato and saute.

* Step 3

Now add salt, red chilli, mango and turmeric powder and mix. Add chopped babugosha and saute for 2 minutes. Place the lid and cook till 2 whistles. Let pressure release automatically.

Open the lid add sugar and mix well. Add chopped coriander leaves.

Serve this khatti meethi chutney with rice or pulao.
