Samak Rice Pulao

#Mar #W4 Samak Chawal Pulao or Barnyard Millet Pilaf  is quick and easy to make, vrat pulao recipe and is flavorful & fluffy, one-pot or one-pan recipe that can be prepared in less than 20 minutes.

20 mins
1/2 bowl

Samak rice

1 tb spoon

Cooking Oil

1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds

2 bowls

Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash samak rice thoroughly and remove water. Peel and chop potatoes.

* Step 2

Heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped potatoes. Saute for 30 seconds.

Add samak rice and mix. Now add water and let it boil. Now lower the flame and let it simmer on low flame till it absorbs all water.

Serve samak rice pulao with vrat ki potato curry.
