Samak Chawal Pulao or Barnyard Millet Pilaf is quick and easy to make, vrat pulao recipe and is flavorful & fluffy, one-pot or one-pan recipe that can be prepared in less than 20 minutes.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash samak rice thoroughly and remove water. Peel and chop potatoes.
* Step 2
Heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped potatoes. Saute for 30 seconds.
* Step 3
Add samak rice and mix. Now add water and let it boil. Now lower the flame and let it simmer on low flame till it absorbs all water.
* Step 4
Serve samak rice pulao with vrat ki potato curry.
