Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and Soak moong dal for 4 hours. Now drain the water and transfer dal in a grinder. Add ginger, green chilli and salt and grind to a fine paste. Add water if needed to grind.
* Step 2
Transfer it to a mixing bowl. Now add salt, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander seeds powder, ginger garlic paste, chopped coriander leaves, and Kasuri methi and mix well.
* Step 3
Now add wheat flour and semolina and knead a dough. No water is required for kneading the dough. Dal paste is enough for kneading the dough. Adjust by adding wheat flour if needed. Rest for 10 minutes.
* Step 4
Now knead a little by applying cooking oil and making lemon size balls. I have prepared 14 balls with this mixture. Roll like a poorie.
* Step 5
Heat oil in a wok. Add a poorie and deep fry till golden. Flip the side and fry from another side also. Likewise, make all the poories.
