Sabudana Balls

#Snack Crispy and crunchy sabudana balls make a perfect tea-time snack thay taste delicious and is full of flavour. I usually prepare it on ekadashi vrat as they are fulfilling and is best meal for vrat.

Ingredient

1/2 bowl

sago pearls

1/4 bowl

peanuts

as per taste

Rock salt

1/4 tsp

cumin seeds

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and Soak sago in water for 2-3 hours. Remove the water and transfer it in a mixer. Keep aside some soaked sago seeds. Add chopped ginger and green chilli and grind it to a smooth paste.

Dry roast peanuts in a wok and then grind it to a coarse powder.

Peel and grate boiled potatoes. Add grinded peanuts and sago paste.

Add chopped coriander leaves, salt, black pepper and cumin seeds. Add remaining soaked sago seeds.

Mox all the ingredients well. Knead like a dough. Now take a portion of dough and make a lemon size balls. Like wise make all the balls.

Heat Ghee in a wok. Deep fry balls till golden pink. Remove it in a plate.

Serve hot with tamarind chutney.
