Saptami Bhog Thali

#fest #Navratri #cookpadindia I have prepared Saptami bhog thali with samak rice. Its nutritious, fulfilling, satvik and healthy

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 servings

Cooking time :

40 minutes all
1/2 bowl

sama rice

4 bowl

water

2 tbsp

pure ghee

1/2 tsp

cumin seeds

as per taste

Sendha salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and Soak sama rice in water for 10 minutes. Peel and chop boiled potato. Heat ghee in a wok. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped potatoes and saute for 1 minute.

* Step 2

Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and mix well. Add sam rice and mix well. Add water and cook on low flame till it turn thick and soft. May take 6-8 minutes.

* Step 3

Remove it in a serving plate. And garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
