These kachoris are filled with a savory stuffing of urad dal and aromatic spices. This stuffing is also referred to as pithi. These kachoris can be stored for 7-8 days.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and Soak urad dal for 4 hours in Water.
* Step 2
Grind dal coarsely in a mixer om pulse mode.
* Step 3
Mix all-purpose flour, salt and cooking Oil for moyan in a mixing bowl. Mix it with your hands thoroughly till flour starts binding like a muthiya. Now add water slowly and knead a dough. Cover it and keep aside for 15 minutes.
* Step 4
Heat 2-3 tb spoon cooking oil in a wok. Add cumin, coriander and fennel seeds and sauté for a minute. Add asafoetida and add coarsely grinded dal stirring. Add all dry masale ingredients and mix.
* Step 5
Keep stirring till it turn golden brown colour. It may take 10-12 minutes. Remove the stuffing in a plate.
* Step 6
Knead dough for 30 seconds. Divide it in equal parts. Make round balls. Now take a ball and make it like a disc.
* Step 7
Fill the disc with dal stuffing. Cover it by folding edges to the centre and make a ball. Then flatten it on your palm and make a thick puri.
* Step 8
Like wise make all kachoris.
* Step 9
Heat oil in a wok and deep fry kachoris till golden brown colour on low flame. It will take 6-8 minutes. Like wise fry all the kachoris.
* Step 10
Serve hot with green or red chutney. This kachoris can be stored for a week in airtight container.
