Mixed Sprouts Chaat

#GA4 #week11 #Sprout #Post3 Mixed Sprouts dal Chaat is a spicy North-Indian dish. The main ingredients used to prepare this chaat are moong, moth and black chana mixed with onions, tomatoes, chilli, paneer squeezed with lemon.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

12.30 hours
1/4 bowl

red moth

1/4 bowl

Black chana

50 gms

paneer

To taste

rock salt

1/2 tsp

chaat masala

as required

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak all dals in water for 6 hours. Drain the water and tie dal in a muslin cloth for 6 hours and hang at warm place. Damp the cloth with some water occasionally in between. Dal will Sprout.

* Step 2

Now put it in a pan with half bowl of water and blanch for 3-4 minutes on medium flame. Drain water, if any and then Transfer it in a mixing bowl.

Wash, peel and Chop onion, tomato, coriander leaves, green chilli and cucumber. Cut paneer in small pieces. Add all chopped vegetables and paneer in Sprout dal.

* Step 4

Toss it well. Squeeze a lemon. Add chaat masala, rock salt, black pepper and mix well

Serve chilled.
