#Onion jeera pulao is a very popular North Indian dish. It can be easily prepared with available ingredients for a quick meal. Goes well with curd or pickle or Raita.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash peel and chop onion. Grate ginger and tomato.
* Step 2
Wash and Soak rice for 10 minutes.
* Step 3
Heat cooking oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds, cloves, black pepper seeds, cinnamom, cardamom and saute for 1 minute. Add onion and saute till onions turned transculent.
* Step 4
Add grated ginger and tomato paste and cook till oil leaves the sides of pressure cooker. Add salt and red chilli powder. Saute for 1 minute. Add water. Place the lid and cook till 2 whistles. Switch off the flame and let pressure releases automatically.
* Step 6
Serve onion Jeera pulav with salad and jeera.
