#Bottle gourd, known as lauki (ghiya) in Hindi and Dudhi in Gujarati, is generally not a popular vegetable in every household but it is low in carbohydrates and good for Weight watchers.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash peel and chop all vegetables. Chop bottlegourd in small pieces. Grate tomatoes.
* Step 2
Heat cooking oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped ginger and onions and saute till golden brown.
* Step 3
Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander seeds powder, kasuri methi and turmeric powder and mix well. Grate tomatoes and add in onions and saute till oil leaves the sides.
* Step 4
Add chopped bottlegourd and mix well. Add water and place the lid and cook till 3-4 whistles. Switch off the flame. Let pressure releases automatically
* Step 5
When pressure releases open the lid and add garam masala and coriander leaves.
* Step 6
Serve hot with chapatti or rice garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
