#Halwa is a dessert which is popular not only in Indian cuisine but also in Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines. Flour,semolina, grains or nuts form the base of a halwa and is garnished with nuts. In our punjabi culture it is auspicious to make it on birthdays and anniversary and Is offered to God.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat pure ghee in a wok. When ghee is heated add semolina and gram flour and roast it on low flame.
* Step 2
Heat water in a pan. Add sugar in it and mix. Heat the solution till sugar gets dissolved in water. Add coarsely grinded Green cardamoms in this solution.
* Step 3
Roast semolina about 10 to 12 minutes or till it turn golden or an aroma starts coming from semolina. Add cashew, almonds and magaj and mix well.
* Step 4
Keep on stirring the mixture constantly. Add sugary water and stir continuously. When the mixture is a little thick add desiccated coconut powder and mix well.
* Step 5
Keep on stirring continuously till it gets thick. Switch off the flame.
