Tomato Rice (North Indian style)

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and Soak rice in water for 15 minutes. Peel, Wash and chop onions. Grate ginger and tomatoes.
* Step 2
Heat cooking oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped onions. Add black pepper seeds, cloves and cinnamon and stir well. Sauté till onion turn translucent.
* Step 3
Add ginger and tomato puree and saute till oil leaves the sides.
* Step 4
Now add rice and stir well. Add water and mix. Place the lid and cook till 2 whistles. Switch off the flame. Let pressure releases automatically.
* Step 5
After 15 minutes open the lid and transfer rice in a serving bowl.
* Step 6
Serve hot with salad and pickle.
