Crispy Kachori

#kids #Filling of Poha is probiotic, good source of carbohydrates, rich in iron, low in calories. It controls blood sugar levels and easily digestible. It becomes more nutritious when combined with potato and bread. A healthy breakfast for kids.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Make crumbs of bread slices in a mixer. Transfer it in a mixing bowl. Add potatoes and salt and mash it. Knead it like a dough.

Wash poha and Soak in water for 5 minutes and keep it in a sieve to drain water. Wash, peel and chop onion, coriander leaves, ginger, green chilli.

Now transfer poha in a separate mixing bowl. Add chopped onion etc. and dry masala and mix well.

Now take a portion of mixture and make a ball. Like wise make all the balls.

Now take a portion of dough. Flatten it on your palms and make a cavity and place Poha ball in it. Cover it from each side in the centre. Again flatten it on your palms. Like wise make all the kachoris.

* Step 6

Heat oil in a wok and deep fry kachoris till golden. Flip the side and fry from other side also.

Serve hot with green chutney.
