Saffron Brown Rice

Ingredient

2 pinches

Saffron threads

50 ml

Hot Water

500 ml

Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak Rice for 15 - 20 minutes then drain. Add Saffron to hot Water and allow to soak.

* Step 2

Place all ingredients in a large casserole and bring to a bowl. Reduce heat to low and slowly cook rice till cooked and fluffy. Remember that Brown Rice is not as soft as White Rice and will be al dente when cooked so you may need to adjust Water based on the Rice's firmness after soaking.
