Spaghetti amatriciana

Super easy and tasty dish. Not for those on a diet though! This comes from the mountains in central Italy just North of Rome. It's made with guanciale (pig's cheek) which is fattier than pancetta but has lots more flavour #italian #spaghetti #pasta

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings
500 g

spaghetti

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cook pasta according to instructions in salted water. Cook guanciale in olive oil until nearly brown. Add tin of tomatoes and stir

* Step 2

Add a ladle of pasta cooking water to sauce. Drain pasta when cooked, add to sauce, add pecorino cheese and mix well

* Step 3

Serve with more cheese because it's just yummy! :)
