EID celebration cannot be complete without Phirni and I made a Kesar one
Ingredient
Food ration :
3-4 servings
Cooking time :
Prep time-5 mins, Cooking time-35 mins, Soak-1hr
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash rice 4-5 times. Soak rice in water for 1 hr. Make coarse paste. Set aside
* Step 2
In a pan add milk and bring it to boil, stir and bring it to simmer.
* Step 3
Add coarse paste of rice and keep stirring for 25 mins. When half cooked add cardamom powder and kesar and keep on stirring until well cooked.
* Step 4
Add condensed milk and stir for 4 mins
* Step 5
Pour into serving bowl or glass and let it cool, refrigerate to thicken and garnish with chopped almonds and dry rose petals
