It’s Poush Sankranti tomorrow and Pithe is a must to observe this special day. I made a traditional and age old Pithe that is so simple to make yet so flavourful
Ingredient

Prep time-5 mins, Cooking time-40 mins
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a pan heat ghee and add Gobindhobhog rice, on medium flame fry golden, add to a Haman Diste to make it a fine powder, set aside
* Step 2
Make a fine powder yet coarse in texture
* Step 3
In a bowl add banana, grated coconut, milk and jaggery and mix well.
* Step 4
Make balls like laddoo shape
* Step 5
Coat with rice coarsely powdered and cool completely. The Pithe would harden
* Step 6
Drizzle jaggery and enjoy a classic from Bengal
