Chicken Boti Bihari style

#BCC Bihari cuisine is so flavourful texture wise and taste wise. Chicken Boti is one such. Soft, juicy, succulent, melt-in-mouth Kababs is to die for. Can be enjoyed with any alcoholic beverage, Roti, Naan, Roomali Roti, as a Roll or just on its own. Let’s dig!!!

Ingredient

Poppy seeds

1/2 cup

Barista

1/2 cup

yogurt

as per taste

Salt

1 Tbsp

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For Kabab Masala In a blender add whole coriander seeds, whole cumin seeds, mace, nutmeg, poppy seeds, blend. Add Barista to it and blend again to make a semi paste. Set aside

On a chopping board take a Meat knife and cut diagonally the boneless chicken breasts so that it’s 1” thickness, set aside.

To a bowl add Chicken pieces, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, orange food colour, lime juice, yogurt and citric acid, mix well.

Refrigerate covered for 7-8 hrs, add mustard oil and mix again. Add to skewers

Put on open flame and grill for 7-8 mins each side and keep turning sides. Add a burning coal on a aluminium bowl and add ghee on it and cover for 2 mins for a smoky effect, remove the coal, keep doing to complete the batches

Drizzle mustard oil on the kababs while being grilled

* Step 7

Heat the sizzler pan and place on the Board, add butter and place onion rings, green capsicum and red capsicum rings, place the kababs and add lime wedges. Enjoy 😊
