Aam Shotto Payesh

#WMD Aam Shotto Payesh is a very unique delicacy of Bengal. It’s very popular both due to Payesh or Kheer and also use of Mango. Let’s dig!!

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings

Cooking time :

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-30 mins
1 ltr

milk

1/4 cup

milk powder

1/4 cup

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a wok add milk and bring it to boil. Continuously stir and reduce to half

* Step 2

Add sugar and milk powder and some chopped Aam Shotto or Aam Papad. Continuously stir as Aam Shotto softens and then add Rice flour

* Step 3

Continuously stir until there is no lump, rice flour is cooked and add some chopped dry fruits of almonds, cashew nuts and some more chopped Aam Shotto or Aam Papad

* Step 4

Set aside and garnish with chopped dry fruits, Aam Shotto

* Step 5

Serve it chilled
