Indori Poha

#weekyellow Poha originated in Malwa region but we all know that Poha dishes in Indore are famous in every nook & corner. I enjoyed preparing and loved the taste

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 people

Cooking time :

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-20 mins
2 cups

poha

1/2 tsp

lime juice

1 Tbsp

sugar

1/4 cup

water

3 Tbsp

oil

as per taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak Poha in a bowl for 30 seconds, strain and set aside

* Step 2

In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, curry leaves and chopped onion.

* Step 3

On low flame cook till lightly brown add turmeric powder, chopped green chilli. Mix well

* Step 4

Add lime juice, sugar. Stir and add water to dissolve sugar

* Step 5

Add Poha and salt. Stir well. Add chopped coriander leaves, stir and set aside

* Step 6

Garnish with lime wedges, chopped coriander leaves, chopped onions, whole green chilli, peanuts and bhujia. Enjoy!
