Coconut Millet

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-60 mins
1 cup

millet

2 cups

water

1/2 cup

coconut milk

1/4 cup

basil leaves

as per your taste

Kosher salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl take water and mix coconut milk powder in it. Bring it to heat and boil on high heat for 5 mins

* Step 2

In a wok heat oil and add millet. Roast for 3 mins. Set aside

* Step 3

Add the roasted millet to the coconut water and on high heat first for a min and on low heat for 25-30 mins cook the millet. Cover and cook

* Step 4

Use a fork to stir it. Add chopped basil leaves and lime juice to it.

* Step 5

Toast the shredded coconut meat on a saucepan and add to the coconut millet

Use a fork to stir once again and plate it
