Soya matar pulao

Ingredient

1 cup

rice

1/2 cup

green peas

1/2 cup

soya chunks

as required

Water

1 tablespoon

oil

1 Tablespoon

garlic ginger paste

1 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

Red Chilli powder

as per taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak soya chunks in hot water for 10 minutes and then squeeze them to drain out all the water.

* Step 2

In a vessel, heat oil. Add bay leaf, onions, green peas,spinach and soya chunks. Saute well. Now add tomatoes, salt, and other spices and washed rice.

* Step 3

Add 2-3 cups of water and cover and cook for 10-15 minutes. Check if rice is cooked well and garnish with some fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with some fresh raita and salad.
